ii. the analysis of the teaching materials
the topic of this unit is about imaginary situations. such topic enables students to activate their imagination and raises learning interest of students. all activities can give students’ speaking and reading practice in section a(3a-4). these activities can help students improve their integrating skills.
iii.the analysis of students
students have learnt more about the advice to problems they meet in their daily life, and they also have practiced the target language. so that is easy to train students’ reading ,speaking and wrting skills.
iv. teaching design
in this period, we ‘ll talk about student’s problems and give advice using the target language. firstly, show some pictures to practice target language. and lead students naturally into the language environment. that is the first task of lesson, and to pave the way for the second task. this activity can improve students’ reading skill. then have a groupwork of four students thinking of different advice for problems. next , provide some examples to drill and invite different student to report their answers. finally, i prepared an extension practice to sum up knowledge points.
